Reminder, Elementary picture day is tomorrow!

Reminder: Junior High Baseball and Softball, pictures are tomorrow! Baseball will start at 7:45, followed by softball.

The Marissa Meteors Shooting Team has openings for new shooters, and would like to extend an invitation to our students. The shooting season goes from Sept. 1 to Aug 31. They compete at The World Shooting Complex, Rend Lake Shooting Complex, and Brittany Shooting Park in Bunker Hill. If you are interested, please see the attached flyer for more information.

Coulterville USD 1 is proud to support our community with a Food Pantry that is available to everyone. Whether you're picking up items or dropping off, you're helping build a stronger, kinder community.
This is located at the school- stop by no questions are asked.
Hours: Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Please enter through the north gym entrance. We ask that you do not use the school entrance or arrive earlier as we have students in the building who are still learning.

We held our first coffee Friday where students at have the opportunity to purchase a coffee. Thankfully you to the students for volunteering to come to school early to help!

The PTT would like to invite everyone to attend their first PTT meeting of the school year. It will be held on September 4 in the school cafeteria beginning at 3:00 p.m. Also, if you pre-ordered an Eagle blanket, please send payment to the school in an envelop with your name and your child's name on it If sending a check, please make payment out to the PTT. If you have not ordered one but would like to, you may still place an order with the PTT.
As a reminder the food pantry is open until 5:00 p.m. tonight. Fresh grapes, chips, rice, beans, and other items are available.
Today, from 3:00-5:00 p.m., we will have the Food Pantry open for pick-ups. We ask that you do not arrive before 3:00 and you use the gym doors on the back side of the school.
Please plan to join Healthy Communities Alliance for this informational presentation on: "Help Through Difficult Times - Managing Stress & Finances." This quarterly event sponsored by the HCA is free and open to all to attend. It will be held at the Sparta Hospital Auxiliary, Broadway Plaza in Sparta on Tuesday, September 9th from 6:00-7:30 pm. Presenters will include Robin Ridgley of the University of IL extension office and Sarah Ward of ComWell. These topics were specifically chosen from a prior community forum and will include practical tips to minimize stress and keep finances under control. Please plan to attend and bring your co-workers, family members and friends.
