Parents,
We want to inform you of an upcoming change to our school tutoring program. Due to limited funding and a significant increase in the number of students who utilized tutoring services last semester, we must adjust how tutoring is provided moving forward.
Beginning this semester, tutoring will be offered based on individual student need and will require a referral through the school office. Teachers and staff will use academic data, classroom performance, and intervention needs to help determine which students would benefit most from tutoring support. This process will allow us to allocate our available resources as effectively and equitably as possible.
Our goal remains the same—to support student learning and success—while ensuring we are able to serve students responsibly within our available resources.
