The staff spent last week showing the students that they have a fun side, by having a Staff Underground week. Each day the teachers had a theme to participate in if they chose to. They had dress in green for St. Patrick's Day, blackout, anything but a cup, act/dress like the students, and support your favorite sports team.

Congratulations to our February Students of the Month!

These are our tentative events for this week.

Congratulations to the Lady Meteors for defeating the Lady Hornets tonight. They start the season with a 1-1 record.

English II students created presentations on a career they are interested in.

On Tuesday, students interested in learning more about laws and court systems had an opportunity to attend an Illinois Supreme Court hearing on two cases at SIU Carbondale. Our students were among 800 other students from around the state to participate in the historical event. This was the furthest location south that the Court has ever convened.

Yesterday, the pesky leprechauns snuck into our kindergarten classroom. They destroyed the leprechaun traps the students had made and made a mess of the classroom.

A big thank you to Coulterville Dairy Queen and the Rust family for sharing green ice cream with our students on St. Patrick's Day.

The NAMI group was at Coulterville School on Tuesday, March 18 to discuss Mental Health and it's ok to ask for help. The students were very attentive to this presentation.

On Friday, March 14, our Bass Fishing Team participated in a tournament at Kincaid Lake. We were represented by Drake, Maci, Bryant, and Josh. They had a very windy day on the lake. Drake and Maci caught fish totaling 4 pounds 3 ounces. Drake had the catch of the day reeling in a Muskie.

The Bass Fishing Team will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser.
