Coulterville art students from grades 5-8th participated in the 2025 Monroe-Randolph Art Festival that was held at Waterloo JH School on April 10, 2025. Sawyer Harris placed 2nd in cartooning, Cambria Higgerson placed 2nd in still life, Jemma Leggans placed 3rd in Illustrated drawing, Baylee Delay placed 1st in cartooning, Avery Harris placed first and Judges Choice in Figure drawing, Angel Messerly placed 1st in still life, Remy Hornbostel placed 1st in cartooning, Maddy Delay placed 1st in Illustrated drawing, Aiden Davis placed 1st in cartooning, and Tristen Abney placed 2nd in Figure drawing. Congrats to all students everyone did a wonderful job!

In kindergarten students have been learning about different instruments from other countries! Students learned about the Kalimba, also known as the finger piano/thumb piano, from Africa! Students got to make and play their own Kalimbas in class 😊

Tomorrow, for Autism Awareness students should wear green.

Monroe-Randolph Counties will once again be offering a STEM girls Camp. This camp is June 9-13.

As a reminder, the PTT raffle tickets are due Monday.

The third grade class tried their first attempt at paper mache and did a great job.

We are excited to announce we now have a school app. The app is Coulterville USD 1. Any time we post on Facebook, send out mass emails, and all calls, it will also post to the live feed on our app. This is a great way to stay up to date on events at our school.

Reminder: wear yellow tomorrow for autism week.

Due to several events requiring bus transportation this afternoon, the afternoon bus route will be delayed approximately 20 minutes. This will result in your child arriving home later than usual. Thank you, Mrs. Carter

Elementary students in art this week learned how to make paper mache. They created Easter eggs.

The student advisory team decided to provide the students with a sundae bar. This was a great way to end a testing week.

Today, students at Coulterville supported Okawville by wearing blue in memory of Blake.

Our hearts break for Okawville students. We support you.

The staff spent last week showing the students that they have a fun side, by having a Staff Underground week. Each day the teachers had a theme to participate in if they chose to. They had dress in green for St. Patrick's Day, blackout, anything but a cup, act/dress like the students, and support your favorite sports team.
