A back to school pool party for Coulterville and Marissa students and their families. It will be on August 1 from 8:30-10:00 p.m. at Bender Muncipal Swimming Pool in Pinckneyville. Cost is $1.50 for those swimming. Please email Mrs. Carter if you know you will be attending so the pool manager will know how many lifeguards are needed.

If you are new to our district, please register your student (s) as soon as possible so we are ready for them. The school is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Students first day of school is August 13 with a 1:48 p.m. dismissal time.

We would like to give a shout out to Jeff and Leah Wagner along with the members of The Gathering. Today, The Gathering held their back to school event for our students. Over 100 students received book fee vouchers and school supplies. Miles Priebe and Chelsea Kuhnert from Pinckneyville's Family Medical Center also donated their time to provide sports physicals for our students. We appreciated everything they do to help our students.

Today we will be receiving a new shipment of food items for our summer food program. Pick up will be today from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Please use the gym doors on the back side of the school for pick-up.

The food pantry through a partnership with St. Louis Area Food Bank is currently open. Please stop by the school and grab a box of food. In addition, if you enter through the back gym doors, we have some refrigerated food as well. The outside food will be available all evening. The refrigerated items will be available until 6:00 p.m.
