5th through 9th grade students had a blast learning while having fun at the Explore Your Horizons Science event at SIU Carbondale with Ms. Remer and Mrs. McDougal on Saturday.



The senior class is sponsoring a Deer Day breakfast. Please support the seniors by having them prepare your breakfast.

On Friday, our elementary students celebrated Halloween with class parties and ended the day with a parade. Thank you to Chief Schlesinger for escorting our students through town, the city employees for stopping traffic, and the PTT for chips for our students.






REMINDER for Tomorrow! Tuesday, November 4th will a Pistol City fundraiser for the students going to "The Outsiders" at the FOX in January. Fundraiser will keep ticket costs down for students. Please support these students, so they can have the wonderful experience of the Fox Theater!

Today the Jr High students visited Fort De Chartres. They were able to touch and interact with history.









A quick trip to Indianapolis for the 98th National FFA Convention! Members enjoyed attending the first opening session, exploring the College and Career Expo and visiting the FFA Shopping Mall.







The bus is delayed returned from the junior high field trip. As a result, the bus route will be delayed approximately 15 minutes.
Last weekend, our High School Bass Fishing team participated in a tournament at Kinkaid Lake. Aubrey and Maci won first place in the tournament and won biggest bass on the day. As a team they caught 12.63 pounds of fish, with the outstanding bass weighing in at 4.7 pounds. Mylee and Drake fished in our other boat. They caught fish totaling 5.44 pounds on the day. Their biggest bass of the day was 1.71 pounds.

ComWell is again providing a newsletter for students, parents and staff of the schools in the surrounding area. Each month they will put out a new flyers regarding various Mental Health concerns or suggestions on how to better Mental Health, Parenting, Communication with children and much more!


This is a quick reminder that Jr high students will be going on their field trip today. We will outside all day. Please keep that in mind when getting ready for the day.
We will be leaving at 8:00am.
