The food pantry through a partnership with St. Louis Area Food Bank is currently open. Please stop by the school and grab a box of food. In addition, if you enter through the back gym doors, we have some refrigerated food as well. The outside food will be available all evening. The refrigerated items will be available until 6:00 p.m.
Ms. Eckart has created a project through DonorsChoose, the nonprofit classroom funding site for public school teachers. Students:
We are looking for volunteers this summer to help us prepare for the new school year. Some items we are looking for help for include: cleaning the lockers, moving desks out of the classroom so the floors can be cleaned, cleaning the desks, recycling, cleaning the buses, help clean storage rooms, and load electronic recycling. There may be other things throughout the summer as well.
As a reminder: Students in grades 8-12 must earn 5 service hours per year as a graduation requirement. This is a great way to get them completed before the school year begins.
