A shout out goes to our Student Leadership team for planning many things for the staff this week in honor of teacher appreciation week. On Wednesday, they gave teachers baskets that contained goodies for the teachers and treated them to lunch. Today, they had staff vs student dodge ball for junior high and high school students. Tomorrow , the elementary students get to have a water balloon battle with teachers and staff. Pictures of all of the events will be coming over the next few days.

On Friday, we will have Fun Day for students. High School students will be going to the Edge for Fun Day. They need to turn in their permission slip and $30 by Wednesday to attend. Those students who do not attend, will remain at school. This is still a day of attendance for students. For K-8 students, the PTT has planned Fun Day for you. They are asking that Fun Day donations be turned in by April 29 and permission slips by May 1. The PTT is also sponsoring the buy 1 get 1 book fair this week. Tomorrow, students in first grade and junior high will be visiting the book fair. On Wednesday, any student who brings money will be allowed to attend the book fair. On Thursday evening, we will host the Athletic Awards beginning at 6:00 pm. Weather permitting, it will be held at the park across from the school. If the weather does not allow us to hold it in the park, we will move it to the gym.
