In Art the Kindergarten class read "The Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle and created art in the form of caterpillars and watercolor painted butterflies.. The class did an outstanding job on their art work.

The track meet has been pushed to an 11:30 start as of now because of the expected rain in the morning . We will meet at the school at 9:45 and leave at 10. Bring layers of clothes and something to stay dry in. Also bring drinks, lunch, and snacks. See everyone tomorrow!

Coulterville art students from grades 5-8th participated in the 2025 Monroe-Randolph Art Festival that was held at Waterloo JH School on April 10, 2025.
Sawyer Harris placed 2nd in cartooning, Cambria Higgerson placed 2nd in still life, Jemma Leggans placed 3rd in Illustrated drawing, Baylee Delay placed 1st in cartooning, Avery Harris placed first and Judges Choice in Figure drawing, Angel Messerly placed 1st in still life, Remy Hornbostel placed 1st in cartooning, Maddy Delay placed 1st in Illustrated drawing, Aiden Davis placed 1st in cartooning, and Tristen Abney placed 2nd in Figure drawing. Congrats to all students everyone did a wonderful job!

In kindergarten students have been learning about different instruments from other countries! Students learned about the Kalimba, also known as the finger piano/thumb piano, from Africa! Students got to make and play their own Kalimbas in class 😊
