High School students were able to enjoy fun day this year at The Edge.

More dodge ball fun!

The Student Leadership team decided it would be fun to play dodge ball with the staff. Those participating had a good time and it was a great way to build positive relationships with our students.

A shout out goes to our Student Leadership team for planning many things for the staff this week in honor of teacher appreciation week. On Wednesday, they gave teachers baskets that contained goodies for the teachers and treated them to lunch. Today, they had staff vs student dodge ball for junior high and high school students. Tomorrow , the elementary students get to have a water balloon battle with teachers and staff. Pictures of all of the events will be coming over the next few days.

As a reminder, the PTT will have the book fair open after school today. Also, Fun Day for K-8 students was moved to Monday. If you are able to help, please contact Shana or Angie.

As of now, we will be having the Athletic Awards at the park. If for some reason, it rains or looks like rain closer to the event time, we will move it to the gym.

Today, we honored Mallori at the IPA breakfast recognition. Mallori is an exceptional student as well as a multi sport athlete. Congratulations Mallori!

The PTT will have the book fair open Friday after school. They are $400 from their goal. Also, athletic awards will be held tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. We are watching the weather and will notify you tomorrow if it will be at the park or in the gym.

Last week, teacher Mr. Yates shared his personal experience of losing a brother from drinking and driving. It was a very touching presentation. Thank you Mr. Yates for sharing your story with our students.

Due to the weather forecast for Friday, the PTT sponsored Fun Day has been moved to Monday May 5. High School students will still be attending the Edge on Friday.

The baseball and softball games that were scheduled for today have been cancelled. Softball will have practice in the gym from 3:30-5:30 and baseball will be at the batting cages beginning at 3:15.
