Congratulations to Tammy Zimmerman! Tammy was awarded a $1,000 grant from Prairie State Generating Company. This grant will be used to help support her STEM class by purchasing additional materials.

We celebrated our Veterans yesterday. Thank you to Senator Terri Bryant for addressing our students and Veterans, Gunnery Sergeant Michael Maschmeier Enlisted Conductor United States Marine Corps Bands for sharing his time in the Marines, Dr. Hughes and Jenny Dyson for organizing the program, high school students for help in presenting the program, future Marine Andrew Hagene for sharing your enthusiasm, Coulterville VFW members for demonstrating the proper folding of the flag, Marissa Meteors Band for playing patriotic music for us, and to our elementary students for leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Most importantly, thank you to all our Veterans for dedicating a portion of your life defending the freedoms we enjoy today.
