Students in Mrs Dyson's Local History Class have spent several days this quarter working at the museum to prepare for a Landmark Dedication to take place on Saturday, March 15. The sign is dedicated to George Rogers Clark's group of men who travelled from Kaskaskia to Vincennes to defeat the British during the Revolutionary War. On their way to battle, the group camped for a night in what is know Coulterville before continuing east. The dedication will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning. The public is invited to attend.
