Please talk with your children about E-Bike and E-Scooter Safety. Please do not wait until a tragedy happens in our community to have this conversation. If your child needs a helmet, have them talk with someone in the office--we will buy them a helmet.

The school cafeteria is a great place to learn about what kids do in their free time. Today the conversation was, "I almost died on my E-Bike last night". My first question, "Were you wearing a helmet?" This conversation turned to a group of teens talking about how they never wear helmets, their e-bikes and e-scooters run 30 miles per hour or more and all had an experience where they were almost hit by a car. Please take time to talk with your kids about scooter and bike safety.

Our next farm to table food distribution will be held on Monday, October 5 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Drive on the north side of the school, remain in your car, and students will load you with food.

Our character trait for the month of September was responsibility. Congratulations to our students who were recognized for exhibiting this character trait throughout the month.
