Description
This senior level course is coordinated through the state and in cooperation with SWIC. It extends students' proficiency in mathematics, and often applies these skills to technical and/or industrial situations and problems. Transitional Math topics may include but are not limited to probability, statistics, rational numbers, systems of measurements, tolerances, numerical languages, geometry, algebra, statistics, and using tables, graphs, charts, and other data displays. Technology is integrated as appropriate. If a student receives a final grade of a C or better in this course they will receive automatic placement in MATH 107 or MATH 111 at SWIC.
